Hey Reader,
You know those songs that hit you in the gut and the soul? For me, Aerosmith’s “Dream On” is one of those. Every time it comes on, I crank it up, close my eyes (unless I’m driving 😅), and let it take me back to a time when my biggest dream was just to become someone—even if I didn’t yet know who.
Lately, that song has been echoing through my days again—not as nostalgia, but as a reminder.
A reminder to keep dreaming…
To stay connected to my purpose…
To remember that I built this community not because it was the logical next step, but because something deep inside me said: "This matters."
And right now? Purpose feels more important than ever. In a world that feels off-kilter, where division (even within our own families) is heartbreakingly real… I’ve been asking myself:
“What am I here to do, really? What’s the deeper why behind how I show up each day? And am I living it on purpose—or just floating along?”
This month in Athena Village, our theme is Purpose. Not the capital-P pressure cooker version. But the quiet, soul-led compass kind. The one that helps us make decisions, take aligned action, and create beauty—even in the midst of chaos.
💭 I’d love to know: • What’s been guiding you lately? Is there a song, quote, nudge, or "aha" moment has pulled you back to your purpose?
Hit reply and share with me. I really do read every note. And if you want to dive deeper into these conversations, the Village café is always open.
Keep dreaming,💛

This month, I’m shining a light on Rachelle Niemann—a longtime Athena Village member (since 2018!) whose presence is as steady and grounding as her work.
Rachelle met fellow member Joy A. right here in the Village, and what began as a spark of connection has grown into a beautiful collaboration. Together, they now host monthly gatherings that invite us to slow down, center ourselves, and honor our natural rhythms—something we all need more of in this fast-paced world.
Their partnership is a perfect example of what happens when values-aligned women come together in community: shared purpose, deep support, and meaningful action. Learn more about Rachelle

💫 Kelly’s final thoughts
Purpose doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it’s a quiet rhythm, a meaningful connection, or a song that reminds you who you are.
This month, I’m leaning into what feels true—and inviting you to do the same.
Thanks for being here. I’m so grateful to walk this path with you.
💛 Kelly
